4/14 THE FATIMA ANGEL PRAYERS

100 years ago this spring, summer and fall this prayer from Heaven was given to the children at Fatima. Maybe it is time to pray it again.

EUCHARISTIC PRAYER

MOST HOLY TRINITY, I adore Thee! My God, My God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

MY GOD, I believe, I adore, I trust, and I love Thee! I ask pardon for for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust and do not love Thee.

SACRIFICE PRAYER

Sacrifices

   A great “secret” of converting sinners is to make sacrifices for them, as well as to pray for them. Our Lady Of Fatima said: “Many souls go to Hell because there are none to sacrifice themselves and to pray for them,” And the holy Cure of Ars said that the conversion of sinners “begins with prayer and ends with penance.”

  But whereas “penance” and “sacrifice” sound frightening to some people and we may not like these words, yet they are the key to obtaining Heaven for poor sinners. If we are frightened of penance, we can begin by making one little sacrifice per day—–perhaps eating something we do not like, or drinking water instead of pop, or making ourselves wait a half hour or so to take a drink when we are thirsty. These are little forms of “fasting”. Some sacrifices we are obliged to make anyway, but we can offer them for sinners: examples of these are being patient with a trying person or turning off an immodest TV, program. These sacrifices will be presents for Our Lady, the precious coin she can use to buy back souls that are headed for Hell.

  It seems that God loves to “delegate” His work, He has given it to us to be the “secondary” causes of His work, including the salvation of our “brother” and our “neighbor.” And though His Blood poured out on Calvary was sufficient to save all souls, He requires that we, the living branches on Him, the Vine, ask for and even “activate” its application to those souls by our prayers and our sacrifices.

  At Fatima both the Angel and Our Lady asked for sacrifices for sinners. They said, “Sacrifice yourself.” This is done largely by generously making individual sacrifices.

The Angel of Fatima, too, told the three children to “Offer prayers and sacrifices constantly to the Most High . . . Make of everything you can a sacrifice, and offer it to God as an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended, and in supplication for the conversion of sinners . . . Above all, accept and bear with submission the sufferings which the Lord will send you.”

  If Our Lady and the Angel ask for prayers and sacrifices for the conversion of sinners, this means that they actually intend to save sinners if prayers and sacrifices are offered up. We must therefore send these up with confidence in Our Lady’s intention and power to save the dying. After receiving the above-mentioned message of the Angel, the children were given to understand “how pleasing it [sacrifice] is to Him and how, on account of it, He grants the grace of conversion to sinners.” It does work! This is the true recipe for saving souls, even those who are dying and have very little time left.

OUR LADY OF FATIMA SAID: SACRIFICE YOURSELVES FOR SINNERS AND SAY MANY TIMES, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU MAKE SOME SACRIFICE:  

O JESUS, it is for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

DECADE PRAYER

(To be said after the Glory Be at the end of each decade of the Rosary)

O MY JESUS, forgive us our sins, save us from the fire of Hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are most in need of Thy mercy.

ANGEL’S PRAYER

(Given to the three children by the Angel who preceded Our Lady’s first appearance to them.)  

MOST Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges, and indifference by which He is offended.  And through the infinite merit of His Most Sacred Heart, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of Thee the conversion of poor sinners.

Abba Father, In the name of Jesus, in the Unity and Power of the Holy Spirit, under the Mantle of Mary, with all the Angels and Saints, through the Intercession of The Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta. please take my humble prayer and make it Your Command, that all be accomplished and completed in Your Most Holy Divine Will. Fiat! Amen!

 

Day 1 – Thursday April, 14, 2016

The Mystical Marriage –  “The longed for day finally arrived, after not a little suffering. …He drew near me, took my heart in His hands,…He dusted it, and then He gave it back to me. Then He took a garment of immense beauty, …and He clothed me with that garment. …He bejeweled my ears. Then He adorned my neck and my arms, and surrounded my forehead with a crown of immense value,…Now, while He was crowning my forehead, Jesus told me: “Most sweet spouse, I place this crown upon you so that nothing may be missing in order to make you worthy of being My spouse; but then, after our wedding is finished, I will take it with Me to Heaven, to keep it for you at the moment of your death.” (V1)

Day 2 – Friday April, 15, 2016

“Sometimes, carrying me with Him, He (Jesus) would take me (Luisa) to Paradise… I will just say that sometimes, while finding myself in that Blessed Fatherland, I would be strolling together with Jesus in the midst of the Choirs of Angels and the Saints; and since I was newly-espoused, all the Blessed would unite together to participate in the joys of our marriage. …Jesus would show me to the Saints, saying to them: “See this soul – she is a Triumph of My Love; My Love has surpassed everything in her.”

Other times, then, He would make me stay at the place which was going to be mine, and He would say to me: “Here is your place – no one can take it away from you.” (V1)

Day 3 – Saturday April, 16, 2016

“While I am outside of myself, my Adorable Jesus continues to show me my heart inside of His – but so transformed, that I can no longer recognize which one is mine and which one is Jesus’. …I seemed to see my Beloved Jesus occupied with preparing the place in which He was to put the heart, perfuming it and bejeweling it with many different flowers. And while He was doing this, He told me: “My beloved, since you must live from My Heart, it is appropriate for you to undertake a more perfect way of living. Therefore, from you I want:

  1. Perfect conformity to My Will, because you will only be able to love Me perfectly if you love Me with My own Will.
  2. Profound humility, placing yourself, in front of Me and of creatures, as the last among all.”  (…)  (V4 – 11.20.00)

  1. Purity in everything, because any slightest fault against purity, both in loving and in operating, is reflected all in the heart, and it remains stained. …if all your works, thoughts and words, heartbeats and affections, desires and inclinations, are adorned with the celestial dew of purity, you will weave a sweet enchantment, not only for the human eye, but for the Whole of Heaven.
  2. Obedience, which must be connected with My Will, because if this virtue regards the superiors I have given you on earth, My Will is obedience which regards Me directly; …However, both of them have the same value, and one cannot be without the other; therefore you must love both one and the other in the same way.”

“Know that from now on you will live with My Heart, and you must see things the way My Heart does, that I may find My satisfactions in you. Therefore be careful, for this is no longer your heart, but Mine.”   (V4 – 11.20.00)

Day 5 – Monday April, 18, 2016

“…See, in order to make the creature ascend again into the Firmness, into the Perennial Good, into the unshakeability of My Will, I want to Establish My Kingdom in their midst. See then, in what point I have placed you—in the Firmness and unshakeability of the Fiat, so as to allow you to lay this Kingdom of Mine within It. And just as My Will Triumphs of everything with Its Firmness, so will you Triumph of everything with Its Firmness and in the unshakeability of Its Acts, and you will reorder the Divine Order between the two wills—the Divine Will shall be reintegrated in Its Glory, and the human will shall place itself again in the order established by God.”   (V20 – 1.13.27)

Day 6 – Tuesday April, 19, 2016

‘Tell me, my Life, who is my Family? What is my dowry and Yours?’ And smiling, He continued: “Your family is the Trinity. Don’t you remember that in the first years of bed I took you to Heaven and we Celebrated our Union before the Most Holy Trinity…We, the Three Divine Persons, Descended from Heaven, took Possession of your heart, and formed Our Perpetual Residence in it. We took the reins of your intelligence, of your heart, and of all of yourself; and everything you did was an Outpouring of Our Creative Will over you, and the Confirmation that your will was animated by an Eternal Will.  (V13 – 12.5.21)

Day 7 – Wednesday April, 20, 2016

(…) “My daughter, courage, let Me finish to manifest to you all that is necessary, regarding the Kingdom of My Will, so that nothing may be missing in order to form It in the midst of the human family.  …Its full Triumph you will see from Heaven.  …We will do It together, My daughter.  Your pains, your long sacrifices, your incessant prayers that My Kingdom may come soon, and My Manifestations about It – I will Unite everything together with Me and will form the foundations.  Once I have completed everything, I will Entrust My Kingdom to My ministers, so that, like second Apostles of the Kingdom My Will, they may be the criers of It.  (V20 – 11.6.26)

Day 8 – Thursday April, 21, 2016

“Live always in your precious Inheritance, that was given to you with so much Love.  It is yours—It will always be yours, inseparable from you; nor will I ever permit that My little daughter not feel the heartbeat of My Light, the breath of My balsamic Air, the Life of My Divine Will.”

(…)“Now, My daughter, one who lives in My Divine Will possesses the rights of her creation, and therefore, more than sun, she lives in the Unity of her Creator; she is the reproducer of the effects of the Divine Unity.  In this Unity she gathers everything, embraces everyone, warms everyone, and with the breath of the Divine Unity she produces in the hearts of creatures all the effects that are present in the Kingdom of Grace…” (V27 – 11.14.29)

Day 9 – Friday April 22, 2016

“One who lives in My Will is the True Sun, that is such that apparently one sees nothing but light and feels nothing but heat, but how many goods are there not inside that light and heat?  How many effects?  The life and the goods of the earth are enclosed inside that light and heat.  In the same way, with one who Lives in My Divine Fiat, apparently one sees a creature, but inside there is a Divine Will that sustains everything—Heaven and earth, and does not want to keep inactive she who possesses such a great good.” (V27 – 11.14.29)

Luisa’s Birthday

V3 – April 23, 1900 – This morning, finding myself outside of myself, I saw my sweet Jesus suffering very much, and I prayed Him to share His pains with me; and He said to me:  “You too suffer.  Rather, I will take your place and You will do for me the office of a nurse.”  So it seemed that Jesus placed Himself in my bed, and I, beside Him, began to check His head, removing the thorns which were driven into it one by one.  Then I moved on to His body and I visited all His wounds; I dried up the blood, I kissed them, but I had nothing with which to salve them so as to mitigate the spasm, when I saw that oil was coming out from me.  I took it and I salved the wounds of Jesus, but with some concern, as I did not understand what the meaning was of that oil coming out from me.

But blessed Jesus made me understand that resignation to the Divine Will is oil which, while salving and mitigating our pains, salves and mitigates the spasm of the wounds of Jesus at the same time.  Then, after performing this office for my dear Jesus for quite some time, He disappeared and I came back into myself.

Prayer – Lord, we pray that Your Eternal Fiat be Known, and just as it Reigns Triumphantly in Heaven, it may Come to Reign Triumphantly in the Midst of Creatures. We also pray that we may be anointed and salved with the Oil from Luisa so that we may all be Resigned to the Most Holy Divine Will.  Fiat!  Amen.

4/13 THE CROSS

It’s Easter time,  a time of complete joy for the triumph of the Risen Christ. In Him each of us has risen to a new life and is committed to keep the values of Faith and Peace alive. This is a time of continuous celebration and will receive its completion, its fullness at Pentecost.

But once again we want to focus our attention on the moment preceding this time, the most delicate and touching of the whole Passion of Jesus: His death on the cross. This moment is solemn: either Christ’s death or the death of all creatures must be decided. There, on the Cross, where He defeated sin and divinized death.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

This statement would be enough to understand God’s love for his creatures and the purpose towards which He directs them: salvation!

For an excess of love God created the world and in it He wanted free creatures with whom to exchange the same love that circulates in the Holy Trinity.

It’s this freedom that creates the distance between God and the creature, because this one chooses to move away, and believes that she is capable of managing her life and often also that of others.

In all this, the love of God/Father toward his creatures/children doesn’t waver, but it is simply shown through a new and deeper aspect: mercy.

Now his love is a suffering love because it is unrequited, but it never stops. It is continuous and constant even when God seems to be silent, when He seems to be completely absent and indifferent to the sufferings of the world and of innocents in particular. It seems that He did so also with His beloved Son who on the cross cried out: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”.

It is here, in regard to the theme absence of God, that the great philosophers and thinkers turn on: Aristotle’s concept of the unmoved mover/indifferent God; Nietzsche’s announcement of the death of God; Schopenhauer who sees too much evil in the world and, for this reason, it is impossible that there might be a Being, full of Love as described in revelations; and then there are the common people always ready to ask themselves what is to be done or no with God: if God is good, but not omnipotent, as He doesn’t intervene in favor of the honest person or if He is omnipotent, but not good, as He allows the wicked and unrighteous to act freely.

The truth is that men have still  a “distorted image of God….. He is seen as the Supreme Being, as an entity who asserts himself over an individual from the outside… God is the one who intervenes with divine punishment to reestablish the moral order” ( Father Raniero Cantalamessa, March 25, 2016)  but He is indifferent to the joys and pains of the creatures.

It is also true that man doesn’t  know and doesn’t try to know God.  Sacred Scripture in the Old Testament tells us that God is a merciful God who feels compassion for human misery (Exodus, 34.6), He lets himself be moved by suffering and participates in the joy of man. Jesus Himself, in His humanity, lived with man his feelings: joy, but also anger, sadness, anxiety and fear, and He divinized them. The cry of Jesus on the cross is a demonstration that He took upon himself the human condition into which He entered to become a sinner and be in solidarity with him. The novelty is that with Him everything is mixed with love, an exaggerated and immeasurable love.

In the face of evil Jesus loves!  On the contrary, in the face of evil man seeks revenge, and not justice, much less divine justice and mercy, which instead are revealed precisely on the Cross. Therefore it remains inconceivable to the human mind to see reflected in the cruel Passion and Crucifixion of Jesus, God’s justice and love, his mercy in favor of all his creatures.

Yet one wonders: how else could God bring his lost sheep to the fold except through a good shepherd who is ready to take care of each one up to the sacrifice of Himself?

And who could have carried out this delicate and difficult mission, but the One who is in close communion with God? If not a Son who knows the Father’s intentions and works with His own Will?

In his homily on Good Friday, Don Sergio focused on this aspect, that is certainly not easy to understand: the passion and crucifixion of Christ are the extreme manifestation of God’s love for all creatures. He sacrificed his innocent Son to save all of us, incorrigible sinners.  It’s his own Will that wants to sacrifice on the Cross the lamb without blemish, and without spot, who is loaded with all our sins. And this is the meeting of two wills: that of the Father and of the Son who wants to give Himself as a voluntary victim to save the world!

God is love and mercy to such an extent that He took the place of the sinner in His Son Jesus, He died in his place so that he might live: “… unless a grain of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone; but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.. .”(John. 12:24).

This is the law of love: give yourself to others and this is the law of Christ: bear one another’s burdens (Gal 6:2). To suffer for love, to save the neighbor from an imminent danger: from certain death.

Luisa, by God’s will, was called to insert herself in this context in order to continue, in Jesus’ Humanity, to make reparation for sinners and lead them to safety.

Luisa didn’t refuse, but  she accepted  and offered herself  because she loved, she loved Christ and in Him all creatures.

Therefore love will save the world, because “Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” (I Cor 13:7). Christ’s death on the cross on Good Friday is the worst thing that has ever happened, but life did not stop on the cross, rather from there it has started again with a new beginning.

Pope Francis exhorts us to not lose hope: the one who loves hopes and knows that  our merciful God is always there, waiting for each of us. His love chases and reaches us, right there on our cross.

At the close of the 150th anniversary since Luisa was born in Corato, the Association Little Children of the Divine Will, in order to meet the demands of those who can only try to imagine what was her life, is glad to present the first theatrical performance on the figure of the little daughter of the Divine Will entlited:

LUISA’ S ROOM

“It’s a play that arose from the cooperation of several artists who with great enthusiasm and generosity said yes. They wanted to dedicate a discrete act of love to a creature that made her humility and fragility so great to believe in a miracle

It’s a play where the people speak, where the voice becomes a song, where every word is a fact that says even little things but with the scent of heaven.

 

Emotions and reflections.

No presence appearances, never absences.

Fairy tales, dreams, and stories.

 

The room is a mysterious place without time or space, therefore it’s difficult to imagine who stays there. It’s a rectangle as wide as the length of a bed, with three doors: one is a junction to the other rooms, the other is a door opening onto the landing, and the last is a big window that leads to a balcony.

Three doors that allow to stay in touch with the world and vice versa, doors designed for those who already are there, for those who arrive, and those who are yet to come. Inside the room there is a canopy wrought iron bed that appears shaky and precarious, it seems supported in the air; a night table with drawers, on the surface  of which there are an alarm clock and a bell, both of poor metal. A rush-bottomed chair with the bottom of straw and a rough small table on which it is usual to place the work and the bobbin lace pillow. Everything is well arranged, nothing seems cumbersome, everything seems to be of humble lightness. If it were not for a crucifix hanging on the wall at the side of the bedside; above the bed, two unpretentious holy pictures of the heart of Jesus in an oval; on the bedside table, a bell-shaped case which keeps the statue of a quiet little Baby, nothing suggests human presence

The room is inhabited by someone who can make all the beautiful fairy tales come true.

Everyone get into this room and take it with him in the heart without going out anymore”.

100 Years Ago Today:  April 1916

One who really loves Jesus and does His Will, forms one single heartbeat with Him. However, in order to achieve this, perfect stripping is needed.

This morning my sweet Jesus made Himself seen in my heart, and His heartbeat was beating in mine. I looked at Him, and He told me: “My daughter, for the one who really loves Me and does my Will in everything, her heartbeat and Mine become one. So I call them my heartbeats, and I want them as such, around and even inside the heartbeat of my Heart – all intent to console Me, and sweeten all my sorrowful heartbeats. Her heartbeat in Mine will form a sweet harmony, which will repeat for Me all my Life, and will speak to Me of souls, forcing Me to save them.

But, my daughter, what stripping is required to be the echo of my heartbeat! It must be a life more of Heaven than of earth – more Divine than human! Even one shadow, one tiny thing is sufficient to prevent the soul from feeling the strength, the harmonies, the sanctity of my Heartbeat; so she is not the echo of my Heartbeat, she does not harmonize together with Me, and I am forced to remain alone in my sorrow and in my joys. And I receive these sorrows from souls who – …who knows how much they had promised Me. But when it came to the decisions, I was left disappointed by their promises.”

Jesus is the Word which multiplies in every act of all creatures, together with the one who lives in His Volition.

I was dying because of the continuous privations of my sweet Jesus. This morning I found myself completely in Jesus, as if I were swimming in the immensity of my Highest Good. Then, I looked inside myself and I saw Jesus in me. I could hear the whole Being of Jesus speaking: His feet, His hands, His Heart, His mouth – in sum, everything. Not only were they voices, but the wonder is that these voices became immense, multiplying themselves for every creature. The feet of Jesus spoke to the feet and to each step of the creatures; His hands to their works; His eyes to their glances; His thoughts to each one of their thoughts… What harmonies between Creator and creatures! What an enchanting sight! What love! But – alas, all these harmonies were broken by ingratitudes and sins. Love was repaid with offenses. And Jesus, all afflicted, told me: “My daughter, I am the Word, and my Love toward the creature is so great that I multiply Myself into as many voices for as many acts, thoughts, affections, desires, etc. as each creature does, in order to receive from them the return of those acts done for love of Me. I give love and I want love, but I receive offenses instead. I give life, but if they could, they would give Me death. But in spite of all this, I continue my loving office.

However, know that the soul who lives united with Me and from my Volition, swimming in my immensity, becomes one voice together with Me. Therefore, if she walks, her steps speak, pursuing the sinner; her thoughts are voices to the minds; and so on with everything else. Only from these souls do I find my reward, beginning with the work of Creation. And in seeing that, unable to do anything by themselves to correspond to my Love and maintain the harmonies between Myself and them, they enter into my Will, taking ownership and acting in a Divine manner – my Love finds its outpouring and I love them more than all other creatures.”

 April 21, 1916

The privation of Jesus which Luisa suffers. The sins of the world have surrounded the Most Holy Humanity of Jesus with thorns, preventing Him from pouring His grace upon creatures.

I continue my most bitter days. I fear that someday Jesus may not even come in passing, and in my pain I keep repeating: ‘Jesus, don’t do this to me. If You don’t want to speak – so be it; if You don’t want to give me the gift of your charisms – FIAT! But not coming at all – not this! You know that it would cost me my life, and that my very nature, left without You until evening, would melt.’ As I was saying this, blessed Jesus, increasing my bitterness, made Himself seen telling me: “Know that if I do not come to pour Myself out with you for a little while, it is because the world is receiving the last blow of destruction and all sorts of scourges.”

What fright! I remained terrified and petrified for the pain. So I continued to pray, saying: ‘My Jesus, for every moment of your privation I ask You that a new Life of Yours be created within the souls. You must give me this grace. Only on this condition do I accept your privation. I don’t deprive myself of a trifle – but of You, immense, infinite, eternal Good. The cost is immense; therefore, let’s come to a deal.’ Jesus stretched His arms around my neck, as if He were accepting. And looking at Him – ah, what a painful sight! Not only His head, but all His Most Holy Humanity was surrounded by thorns, to the extent that I was pricked in hugging Him, but I wanted to enter into Jesus at any cost. And He, all goodness, broke that garment of thorns at the point of His Heart, and placed me inside. I could see the Divinity of Jesus, and although His Divinity was one with His Humanity, while His Humanity was tortured, His Divinity remained untouchable.

Jesus told me: “My daughter, have you seen what a painful garment creatures made for Me, and how these thorns have penetrated into my Humanity? These thorns have closed the door to the Divinity, having surrounded all my Humanity, only from which could my Divinity come out for the good of creatures. Now it is necessary that I remove part of these thorns, and that I pour them on the creatures so that, as the Light of my Divinity flows from these thorns, I may save their souls. Therefore, it is necessary that the earth be invested by chastisements, earthquakes, famines, wars, etc., in order to break this garment of thorns that creatures made for Me. In this way, as the Light of the Divinity penetrates into their souls, I will be able to disillusion them, and to make better times arise.”

Every thought on the Passion of Jesus is a light drawn from His Most Holy Humanity in order to be like Him.

Continuing in my usual state, my adorable Jesus made Himself seen all surrounded with Light, which came out from His Most Holy Humanity, and which embellished Him in such a way as to form an enchanting and enrapturing sight. I remained surprised, and He told me: “My daughter, each pain that I suffered, every drop of Blood, every wound, prayer, word, action, step, etc., produced a Light within my Humanity, to embellish Me in such a way as to keep all the Blessed enraptured. Now, for every thought that the creature has about my Passion, for every act of compassion, reparation, etc., she does nothing other than draw Light from my Humanity, and be embellished to my likeness. Therefore, every additional thought about my Passion will be an additional Light which will bring her eternal joy.”
